Peter Stewart

Peter B. Stewart, Jr. concentrates his practice on preparing and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications. Mr. Stewart has experience in numerous technical areas including optical fibers, optical-fiber cabling, semiconductor devices, microwave instruments, software, and consumer products.
Mr. Stewart’s work further includes the preparation of patentability opinions and the analysis of patent infringement issues. In addition, Mr. Stewart counsels clients in various aspects of intellectual property including protecting trade secrets, licensing, trademark registrations, and copyright registrations.
Before practicing law, Mr. Stewart studied computer engineering at North Carolina State University. While at North Carolina State University, Mr. Stewart completed numerous design projects in conjunction with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.
